USF1 to harness alternative design technology

Although USF1 have been quiet about their F1 entry of late, they insist they will be on the grid in 2010.

This very interesting article seems to explain their confidence:

British GP pricing announced – over a ton for Sunday alone

Hot on the heels of the announcement that Silverstone has signed a long term deal for the British Grand Prix, pricing has been announced on their website.

WIth general admission starting at £103, an uncovered grandstand at £157 and a covered grandstand at £220, it's one hell of a day out.  £880 for a family of four in a covered grandstand seems pretty extortionate to me.

With little or no discount for children and the only real discount coming from a 3 day ticket, it's hardly a triumph for the fan who wants to visit in the flesh.  Looks like I'll be watching it on TV as usual.
